Dr. Krishna Arjun Pradhananga
Namaste (Hello!)
My name is Krishna. I grew up in Nepal where complementary medicine is vastly used in practice. This piqued my interest at a young age. I underwent my Diploma in Traditional and General Medicine for 3 years at Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine, Ayurveda Campus. Post diploma, I underwent my 5 and half years of Bachelor degree in Ayurveda and Surgery at Government Ayurveda College, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India in 1996. I worked as an ayurvedic doctor, a lecturer at Ayurveda Campus in Nepal for the past 25 years. I obtained my Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda- M.D. at Banaras Hindu University, India in 2003. I have also achieved a Diploma in Yoga Science from Banaras Hindu University, India. I also opened my own practice in Nepal and helped provide herbal medical therapies and education to patient’s visiting my clinic.
I am a professionally accredited member of Australasian Association of Ayurveda. My passion in Ayurveda is herbal medicine and education on complementary medicine. My practice will involve modern medicine along with traditional medicine through dosha equilibrium, dhatu and whole systemic examination and make diagnosis according to Ayurvedic literature and then correlate it to modern medicine. The main aim of Ayurveda is to be physically and mentally fit. I would love to help you along this journey.
